Even if you have antivirus protection, it doesn't hurt to use a second product to see if your computer is secure, since most antivirus programs catch only 90 to 98 percent of known viruses. Nearly all antivirus programs offer a free online scan to see if your computer is infected. Here's a partial list. Remember, no product will catch every malicious program.
